How To Get Started Step By Step

STEP 1:

Welcome!

You just faxed or mailed the completed application forms to the office or signed up online. Let me first welcome you already now to our support team and our business venture.

My name is Frank Bauer, I am living in Kiel / Germany and I am in your upliner.  Thank you for joining our downline team.  If we work together we will be able accomplish every goal.  So let's work together and be successful!

Let first go through a little reallity check . . . I am sure you know that in order for you to earn commission checks (small, big or huge ones) you will have to work this program. Sure, you can receive spillover from your upline, but how long do you think your upline will place people in your downline, if you are not working the program yourself?

Please keep in mind that only if you work the program, the program will work for you.  There are many ways to find interested people.  I, for example, advertise through my web site, through my own as well as many other newsletters, in classified ad sections and search engines all over the internet. You can do the same on any online service, bulletin board service, newspaper, magazines, newsletter and so on.  Or maybe you know somebody in your hometown who is interested in earning an extra income.  The possibilities are endless... Promote you own web site where ever and when ever possible.

I know that some of you are new to Network Marketing and others just don't know how to work this program. That's ok, that's why I did put together this place, to help all the support team members to get started. I am sure that even after reading everything in this Downline Support Area some of you will still have lots of questions that need to be answered. That's absolutly no problem . . . just ask your questions, email your sponsor or contact me.

Some of you will also be more experienced and might not need all the information in this Downline Support Area. Maybe you can even supply us with additional comments, ideas and suggestions. Please contact me if you have something to contribute.

STEP 2:

Let's get started!

Sponsoring on online services and the Internet

Learning to sponsor on online services and the Internet will help your business to grow. Here are three effective ways to do this.

1. Participate in discussions. Get on the bulletin boards or forums of your online service. Find topics that relate to our product or business. Read and reply to other people's notices. Just be sure that you follow the rules. Most discussion groups do not allow you to advertise. However, in the course of a conversation you can bring up our product or business venture when it fits into the area of discussion. Don't write something that sounds like advertising. At the end of whatever you write, leave your signature lines which tells something that may generate the reader to contact you. It can be the URL of your web page, your autoresponders email address or a short description of our business.

Here's an example for LottoTeam Online:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Of course you would replace the URL with your own one.

2. Write articles. If you have knowledge related to our product or business venture which you can share, write an article about it. Post it on forums and in text file areas of your local computer bulletin boards. See if publishers of electronic newsletters would be interested in publishing it in return for you being able to plug your own business at the end of it. Sign your article with your signature lines just as you would in a discussion group or tie in your article with something else that you have to offer.

3. Register your web page on search engines. Include the URL of your web page in all your advertising and after your name when you participate in online discussions.

As you might know, I am offering a Web Site Promotion Service on my $1,000,000 Web-Mall at:  Add2LinkCount.cgi?url=http%3A//add2it.com/increase-traffic.shtml
Here is a special offer only for you, a member of my downline support team:

Let me submit your own LTO web site to 1000+ Search Engines & Directories for FREE!  Just go to: Add2LinkCount.cgi?url=http%3A//add2it.com/increase-traffic.shtml and choose "pay online with a US check", mention "LTO Team Member" on the order form and enter the word "FREE" instead of any of the check details.

But that's not all!  But that's not all!  You can promote any other web site at over 60% discount!  Submit your web site 3 month in a row to 1000+ Search Engines & Directories for only $19.95!  Just mention "LTO Team Member" on the order form.

These three techniques will generate direct sign-ups and inquiries by email. Your job then is to email follow-ups to the prospects that received info from your ads, autoresponders & web pages so that they can understand what we are offering and consider our business venture. Many people often will not become involved in a network marketing program with only one contact. Follow-up is the key. At this point a tag-team can also help you to sponsor new members.

STEP 3:

Be a sponsor!

Be a sponsor, not a recruiter. Why? A recruiter is effective at "signing up" people, and then moving on to "sign up" others. The recruiter seems to be in a frantic search to find superstars among the crowd, and his way to "find" them is to "sign them up" and then watch and wait. The recruiter believes in "love 'em and leave 'em". He expects the superstars to eventually rise to the top, and the others to eventually quit. The sponsor has a different attitude. He believes that any person worth sponsoring is worth developing. The sponsor believes in "marrying" those he sponsors. The recruiter wants a "one-night stand". Be a sponsor!

Being a sponsor is an ongoing activity. It is this ongoing activity that creates loyalty to the sponsor, and gives the sponsor serious credibility. The recruiter is a traveling salesman; once he has sold you, he is gone. The sponsor is a helper/teacher who wants you to have the training and the tools you need to be successful, and the encouragement to keep plugging. Be a sponsor!

There is a transferable concept here. Your sponsor wants you to be a sponsor. A sponsor develops other sponsors by deliberate, careful help and encouragement. A recruiter expects you to be a born superstar. Be a sponsor!

Making a superstar takes training, encouragement, help, patience, and time. It takes being a sponsor.

What does it take to become a superstar? It takes a lot of attitude type things such as confidence, committment, determination, credibility, etc. Where do these "attitude-type" things come from? They are learned. They are taught. They are "caught". Here are the stages of the development of a superstar:

  1. Learn to be a real sponsor.
  2. Develop others who will be real sponsors.
  3. Teach them to teach others to be real sponsors.
The secret to MLM success is found in this: the recruiter is not building a multi level organization, it is all one level (and most of them will quit). The sponsor is building a duplicatable system that can run downline through his organization. This builds a powerful downline. He is not building a downline of distributors, but a downline of SPONSORS. Be a sponsor!

What is the difference between a recruiter and a sponsor? It's the difference between "hype" and "help". The sponsor's job begins when you enroll, the recruiter's job ends when you enroll. The recruiter's goal is to sign up people. The goal of the sponsor is to build leaders.

Before asking yourself which you want to be, ask yourself which do you want your upline to be. Remember, you are the upline to other people. Here are the keys to success in MLM:

  1. Be a sponsor.
  2. Keep being a sponsor.

We are sponsors . . . be one too!

SPONSORING MADE SIMPLE

To be successful in any business the process must be kept simple. With our program it couldn't be simpler and this document is designed to show you how simple it is and it can be done without fear.

Recruiting people into your business is a simple as these 3 steps. (1) Prospecting (2) Sharing the concept (3) Closing and enrolling

PROSPECTING through word of mouth

All businesses require people. In this business you require a list.

With out a list you have a 'closed' sign on your door and have no business. The size of the list you develop will determine your ultimate success. Do you want to be very successful in our program? Then get a big list.

It is important to realize that the list is not only a list of prospects. It is also a list of people that will lead you to thousands of people. Some one once said that 'in this business if you are prepared to call 1000 people you will be a millionaire'. But you don't know 1000 people and you certainly don't want to call them cold. So if you know 200 people and they each give you 4 names - you now have 1000 people that are warm market ie. you can easily call them because they either know you or know some one who knows you. What if those 1000 people gave you 4 names each?

So when making your list write down everyone you know even if they would never work our program in 1000 years put their name down because they can lead you to others and we'll see how in a few paragraphs.

Pull out a map of the United States (or your country) and search through every city remembering anyone in those citys/states. Then close your eyes and mentally walk through your life remembering who you spent time with in the past. Ok now you have your list right? There should be anywhere between 100 to 200 names from the closest of friends/neighbors to business associates and professional people you deal with. Do not leave any one off the list because we will not be approaching them directly.

Make a second list of the types of people you would like to build your business with. We are going to ask everyone we know and meet for these types of people.

Here are some suggestions to ask people. Notice that they are specific.

Congratulations if you have completed this you have done more than 50% of people who get started in this business do.

Now it gets even simpler.

We are going to call every one and say something like this.

"Mary glad I got a hold of you. I'm going 90 miles an hour but wanted to give you a quick call. I have just joined up with a new Network Marketing program. It's just great and the timing is unbelievable. Looks like some serious money is going to be made over the next few months. Mary, it's probably not for you but I'm looking to put a team together real quick to get some huge market share. Can you help me out?

Mary, the types of people I'm looking for have to be fairly serious about wanting something better. Who is the most motivated person you know? who....? who ? etc."

This should also be done with everyone you meet. It's called On the Street Warm Market.

If they ask for more details just say that it would take to long to explain over the phone and that you could mail them a copy of the complete program.

Get names.

Now more than likely they will say they'd like to take a look. Great, get names first then go to sharing.

How simple was that? There is no confrontation and no rejection.

Guess what we are going to do with the names? Something like this: Open conversation with Mary as the focal point.

"John, your friend Mary said you might know some of the types of people we are looking for. I am a recruiter for a new Network Marketing program. It's just great and the timing is unbelievable. Some very serious money is going to be made with our team. John, I'm simply networking to find some serious people who want something better. I don't know if it's for you but we are putting a team together. Can you help me out? Who....? Who.....? Who.....?"

Again, no confrontation and no rejection and again John might say he'd take a look. Great, get names before sharing.

SHARING

One way to share the business venture with others is to mail interested people a copy of the complete program. Or email them the copy that's even cheaper for you. If you don't have the document's on your computer, download them from the program web page.

LottoTeam Online:  http://www.global-lotto.net/aa/FrankBaGer

Each exposure should lead into the next exposure but not before a closing question is asked.

CLOSING

After every exposure, simply ask "Are you ready to get started?" If the answer is to think about it, tell them, "Sure, think about it. And please let me know if there are any question that are not answered now!" Make shure they have a copy of the complete program and follow up within about 24 hours.

If yes then be sure you have paperwork on hand and know how to fill it out.

Go Go Go and good luck.

Get the Word Out !

Some of the best ways to get the word out is to just place a simple classified ad. You can also email to contacts you already have and/or who email you about their program.

Also, you can place some simple classifieds in any of the classified sections or Newsgroups on the web. Because many seekers do searches for key words (like "network marketing" or "MLM") once they are at a "classifieds" site, be sure to place those key words somewhere in the ad title or copy to ensure maximum exposure.
